All you need to do afterward is to thoroughly comb the hair with a special comb to remove the dead lice and nits.
Head lice spread mainly through direct hair-to-hair contact, for example, during a selfie. Head lice cannot fly or jump and can survive for a maximum of 24 hours without hair.
Head lice are parasites that feed on blood. Their bites leave saliva behind, which causes itching. The maximum lifespan of a head louse is one month.
Nits (eggs) are glued close to the scalp. If they are further from the scalp, they are often empty shells or non-viable eggs.
Without treatment, head lice spread quickly. Each female louse lays up to 15 eggs per day. Typically, when discovered in time, a person has up to a few dozen lice, but this number can grow into thousands.
We can treat all types of extensions (braided, glued/taped, with rings and clamped). Combing is not possible and you carry the risk of extensions possibly coming loose. This rarely happens but is not impossible.

Because sitting still can be difficult for children, feel free to bring a tablet or phone to our lice clinic. This usually makes the experience more pleasant. Earbuds are allowed, but headsets are not.
When using shampoos, often with dimethicone as the active ingredient, you are busy for two weeks because shampoo or oil only kills the lice and not the eggs. Since it takes about ten days for the eggs to hatch, you need to wash every day for at least two weeks.
It rarely goes wrong, but if a few lice or nits survive, you are welcome for a free new treatment within a week in our lice clinic in case you booked a professional or junior treatment.
No, the treatment is purely with air. No chemicals are used.
After the treatment in our clinic, you need to thoroughly vacuum your house, including the couch. It is advisable to wash bedding at sixty degrees. Pillows can be put in the dryer for half an hour on the warm setting.
There are 400 species of lice, divided into three groups: European, Asian, and hybrid. In 2015, scientists discovered a mutation of head lice that is resistant to most shampoo treatments, the so-called super lice. Our treatment kills all these head lice.
Up to 48 hours before the treatment, you can cancel or reschedule for free. After that, free cancellation is no longer possible.

Providing an extra treatment as a guarantee is at our discretion. Reinfestation by family members, for example, is possible. Guarantee not applicable to standard treatment as you need to comb yourself.
